Sarah, Gerda and Leonie know each other from the chatroom. They meet in a small village to commit suicide together, through a carbon monoxide poisoning in a tent in the woods. But before they start their last journey, they have to face some impediments.

Fed up with the nothingness in her life, a mother commits suicide in her large white house. In the city of Tokyo, Ryo and Nakamura walk to their jobs at the suburban railway company where they work fixing the problems produced by the train suicides. Ryo handles the removal of the human remains. Nakamura charges the fine to the family of the deceased because the suicide interrupts the railway service. Saki, a young girl, wanders around the city contemplating her apathetic society. Her walk eventually reaches a train platform where Ryo sees her. Their meeting of eyes changes the direction of their lives forever.
