A story about the inability to escape inner emotional traps, presented in the form of subjective memory-impregnated images, where the border between realities is a line drawn/drowned in sea. In addition, it must be said that when tension develops into violence, three members of the family will become two, and finally - at the open sea - only one person remains caught in the trap of its own emotions.

A man has nothing to lose except his dream. To make his dream come true the man embarks on a dangerous journey. But his destination is not what it seems.

The Sea is a film about a woman incapable to feel the most basic human feelings such as love and hate. In a last desperate attempt to get to grips with her own emotions she heads out to the absolute solitude that only the sea can offer. By depriving herself of all human contact she tries to make herself miss the family she left behind and ask the question: Is a life worth living if you can’t feel love and hate?

This is your film submitted to "Impossible Film Contest 2012" contest. Synopsis: Summer 1964, Riviera, Italy. The sun is still high and about twenty children are climbing the dunes of the beach to disappear in the pine forest. They are orphans with an unwritten destiny and many dreams tight in their pocket. Valerio is seven years old and knows only the harassment of fellows and the curtness of the nuns. But that summer, for the first time, he will find kindness and hope.
