Subtle, yet very moving. Simple, from the heart. Able to touch the audience. Unpretentious. Flawless storytelling. Made by Mette Mikkelsen and Andreas Felfoss Bargmann, the short film won the Grand Prize in the 2012 Autumn edition of the Aarhus Short Film Challenge. The film was based on the topics Time and Passion. The Aarhus Short Film Challenge is an international event that is centred in Aarhus, Denmark. Participants have 7 days to make a short film that is up to 5 minutes long and based on two randomly chosen topics. The films are then evaluated by a jury of three film professionals. The Autumn 2012 edition theme was Time, and the jury members were: Richard Raskin, Associate Professor Aarhus University, Department of Information and Media Studies, World’s foremost short film expert; Carsten Holst, general Manager at Filmby Aarhus and Den Vestdanske Filmpulje at Filmby Aarhus, producer of more than 30 titles, has worked with Lars Von Trier; Merete Stubkjær, Producing Chief and Producer at Deluca Film A/S; and Ann Pedersen, Script editor and director, covering various genres within Tv and film, ranging from BBC to feature films, documentaries and short films.
