A early style test for the short film "Urchin Tenants" by Marijana Verhoef and Jan Joost Verhoef. From this particular test we learned that the monster can be unrealistically lit and still convince. As we learned from an earlier style test, matching the shots blurriness is more important. In fact, it will be a stylist choice to not have the monster conform to photorealism.
The monster model itself will be changed, this is a work in progress. A motion capture performer will drive the movement.

"One Line" is the line, which connects the dream with the reality.
"One Line" is not about the destination, but the journey.
"One Line" is a puzzle, a puzzle which contains pieces of a life.
"One Line" is a very personal short film, first because I created it from my personal footage and second because it contains a personal "message".
I was collecting the footage four years and the filming took place in 5 different countries/places, Germany (Berlin), Poland ( Poznan), Greece (Olympos), Montenegro and Croatia.

probably it's hard to recognise the words, but the guy is talking about art that is used for commertial purposes. Beautiful art in Berlin is sometimes the reason why some districts become too expensive for ordinary people to afford living there.
I have interviewed a random guy. the sound sucks but what can I do? ))
