A local resident visits a protest site in southern England and is shocked by what he sees and hears, then he embarks on a personal investigation. What follows is a fast moving travelogue where he discovers more about hydraulic fracturing - fracking, sees the problems and solutions of future energy supplies, and takes heart in the spirit of an English village. Some have said it is England's Gasland although this is calmer and shorter. In fact it is a curiously beautiful film and strange as it may seem it is an uplifting one too.
