Robert Hloz was born in Brno, Czech republic. He now studies the third year of film directing at TBU in Zlín, and in 2010 he studied under the guidance of director Ki-hwan Oh at Hanyang film school in South Korea, where he also worked on LG commercials. His first year final movie Negative Pressure (2009) was awarded at several international festivals and later film The Mill won Kodak Student Gold Award 2011 as the best short film of a year. Numbers, film shot in Czech-Korean coproduction won a price for the best Visegrad short film and was premiered in Cannes, Court Métrage section.
