Daazo Pitch Page - show your next project at the Cannes Film Festival in World of Shorts magazine and on the walls of the Cannes Short Film Corner!
Daazo connects talented filmmakers to give them opportunities. That is why we offer 7 pages to highlight film plans in the Cannes issue of World of Shorts magazine, which will be handed over to the most influential producers and professionals in Europe. The successful pitches - chosen by Maike Mia Höhne, curator of the Berlinale shorts and the founders of Daazo - will be exhibited at the Cannes Film Festival’s Short Film Corner, too.
If you are selected, you get an entire page in the magazine: so draw, write, use photos, do whatever that sells your project. Be creative, visual, personal!

What do you have to do to get your project into the Daazo Pitch Page?
Send us:
- the basic infos of your film (synopses; genre; estimated budget; list of professionals involved)
- a picture/photo/visual artwork - which summarizes the project you want to pitch (Here are the parameters of the image you should send us: 176 (width) x 250mm (height), 300dpi, CMYK rasterized image, jpeg or pdf)
- it can be as personal as you choose
- your previous works uploaded to Daazo.com and a brief text about yourself
Deadline: April 15th, 2013
The process of the Pitch Page project:
- Maike Mia Höhne, the curator of Berlinale Shorts and the founders of Daazo will choose seven projects which will be highlighted in the magazine.(printed and distributed in 5000 copies in Cannes).
- The projects will be presented in the magazine and online as well
- The seven best pitches will be exhibited at the Cannes Short Film Corner
- The magazine with the Pitch Page project will be posted to the most accomplished short film producers in Europe
- The chosen projects get script&distribution consultations with the founders of Daazo
The application costs 20 euro, which you can pay via PayPal
