Olga Poliektova and Tatiana Poliektova – twin sisters, who were born on 7 May, 1985 in St-Petersburg, Russia. Since early years they began to draw and graduated Art school in 2000. They entered University of Movies and Television in St-Petersburg and graduated the department of computer graphic and animation in 2008.

They began to make movies together as two film directors and animators. This collaboration brings new ideas and style in their animation films. They used to draw on paper in classic style and all films have very personal style and poetic view. But also a stop motion technique of animation plays an important role in their cinema experience.

Their diploma animation film “O sole mio!” won the 1st prize for the best film on Moscow Science International Conference of animation in VGIK, as well as several diplomas for the best graphic design.

In 2010 they made their debut film “Tomato story” which took part over then in 30 worldwide festivals and earned over 10 awards.

During these years they made several stop motion short films, which were shown in many festivals worldwide and got international prizes.

They also make commercial films and in 2010 they were invited to make the commercial clip for Swiss bank in Zurich.

In 2011 they founded a company “TIO & RDST Company ltd” together with their producer and teacher and made the new film “Noise”.
The film was created in partnership with “CTB” Film Company and “TiO & RDST Company ltd”.
It was 1st screened at Cannes Film Festival (Short Corner) in May 2012 and also at Moscow International Film Festival in June 2012.

In June 2012 they were invited to take part as jury members in Film Festival (Italy), where they also made the workshop of "stop motion animation in Russia".

Nowdays they are working on new films and projects.
