Barcelona loves dance. Dance films need their own space; they need their home, their temple, a gathering place. They are movies, and as such, we believe, they belong in a movie theatre. Its audience is not limited only to people interested in dance and movement, but it also includes people interested in different approaches to the cinematographic language, those who prefer non-commercial movies, experimental movies, those who are eager to experience different types of movie narrative. And let´s not forget the young dance and audiovisual professionals, who can find inspiration to express their artistic restlessness and, why not, make a living out of it. Dance films is a captivating and interesting movie genre.
