"BLACK MARK - THERE IS NO ESCAPE" - 2011

For a middle class Sri Lankan man with a regular 9-5 job, fear is represented by many things. Some reasonable, some not. Black Mark vividly interprets the 2 faces of fear within one such man, taken to the infamous 4th floor of Sri Lanka’s CID (Criminal Investigations Department - A place where criminals are subjected to intense interrogation) and forced to confront some of the fears that plague him. What happens when fear grips you so hard, you can’t think. You can’t move. You can’t breath. And there is no escape.
