The Transylvanian Connection

Máris has a lover called Kerekes János, but her parents force her to marry the rich and stupid Demics. Máris doesn't fight for her poor János like another Juliet; she would like to have her cake and eat it too. She marries Demics, but promises János that he will be the first after the wedding ceremony. This is when the confusions begins.

This a documentary in the form of animation. It's a collection of interviews with the inhabitants of Kolozsvár, the capital city of Transylvania, on one of their most important historical figures: king Mátyas. When or where he was born, when he died, and what he did imbetween, is a long (and amusing) subject of debate.
