BLANCKEDEGENHARDTSCHÜTZ FILMPRODUKTION was founded in 2008. Since November 2010 we have been supported by the VGF (a German collecting society for exploitation rights in cinematographic works) and the Bavarian Filmcentre in the form of an office scholarship. The legal form of BlanckeDegenhardtSchütz Filmproduktion was changed from a company constituted under civil law to a Limited Liability Company on February 13th 2012. Our aim is to develop and produce good TV and cinema movies for the German and international market, which are special and stand out in their making and narrative style. Part of our philosophy is to set up our projects carefully, yet intensively and entirely in house. And to then present them in cinemas or on TV with much blood, sweat and tears, enthusiasm and dedication.
