DOKO YOMI, "Documenting Kosovo's Youth in Mitrovica" was a documentary workshop organised by NISI MASA, in cooperation with its member organisation in Kosovo, 7Arte. It was open to young adults between the ages of 18 and 30 living in Albania and the former Yugoslavian countries.
This project aimed to:
- train young people in documentary filmmaking;
- to encourage creative expression among Balkan young generation, especially in the
specific area of Kosovo and its

- to develop long-term partnerships between young European and Balkan artists.
Concretely, DOKO YOMI consisted in a filmmaking workshop and training for 15 young adults. It took place in Mitrovica from the 8th to the 22nd of October 2006. The tutors were 5 European filmmakers: Baudouin Koenig (France), Emilia Lehtinen (Finland), Giorgio Cordeschi (Italy), Maya Puig Boedler (Germany), and Nikita Sutyrin (Russia).
The result of the workshop were eight short documentary films about Mitrovica's youth.
